Let's look at how to create your Google Slides theme from scratch. Open Google Drive, and click New / Google Slides. Give the blank layout that opens a name. Then, click View / Theme Builder. Here, you'll see master slide layouts. These represent the controls for each layout in your presentation. Any changes made here reflect on all slides that share the same layout. On the Theme slide, you're controlling the full deck. Here, you can specify default fonts and add text effects. You can also add an image by going to Insert Image Placeholder. Browse to a stored logo or photo and click to insert it. Then, position it on your slide. Now, this image will appear on every slide in the deck! Repeat these steps with the individual layouts.
