This time we are are on the hook in La Cruz, our original destination after we cross the Sea. We were there early in the season so there wasn't as many boats as normal, which to be honest was just fine with me. During our stay we went ashore each day to walk the dogs and explore the town. To be honest, we look forward to returning next year to explore the town further as we really like the fiber and there is this place called Tacos on the Street, that is worth the trip alone. There is a bit of history to La Cruz, like most towns in Mexico we are finding. Here is a link for your reading pleasure. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Cruz... We also went on a tour of the Marietas Islands. These are islands are a protected park by the Mexican government. Which means we can not take our boats there at all. In fact we had to check in with the government monitors upon our arrival. There we were able to visit the Hidden Beach, have a snorkel and even had our first whale sighting. Here is a link with information about the island yo may find interesting. https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islas_M...
